West Bengal has experienced significant and remarkable growth in the poultry industry when compared to other states in our country,
despite numerous challenges. The increasing demand for chicken and eggs has propelled the state to become the country's fourth-largest
producer of poultry eggs and the third-largest producer of chicken meat products. This has led to substantial employment opportunities
for rural communities in our state.

The West Bengal Poultry Federation, the sole assembly of all stakeholders in the poultry sector of West Bengal, collaborates closely with
the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal. We have been organizing the Kolkata International Poultry Fair in
association with the Animal Resources Development Department for the past nine years. Since its inception, we have received an overwhelming
response from stakeholders in our industry, both from our country and abroad.

The West Bengal Poultry Federation is all set to host the 10th Kolkata International Poultry Fair in association with the Animal Resources Development
Department, Government of West Bengal, from the 6th to the 9th of February 2024, at Eco Park-Major Arterial Road (South-East, Biswa Bangla Sarani),
Action Area II, Newtown, Kolkata, West Bengal 700 156, INDIA. An International Seminar on poultry is scheduled for February 6, 2024, featuring speakers
of international repute. The evening opening of the Kolkata International Poultry Fair 2024 will be followed by the fair itself, taking place from
07.02.2024 to 09.02.2024.

The primary objective of this poultry fair is to promote the growth of the poultry industry in our state and nearby states, including the North East.
This fair is expected to attract around 40,000 farmers from our state, in addition to participants from other states and neighbouring countries,
eager to learn about the latest developments in the poultry industry. Besides farmers, renowned poultry experts from various parts of India, speakers,
and poultry producers from all over India and neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Nigeria, Myanmar, and more, will attend. We anticipate
that this year will witness an even larger number of international participants joining our fair.

The 10th edition of the Kolkata International Poultry Fair has been designed with several goals in mind. It aims to expose our poultry farming communities
to modern technological advancements and global best practices. Additionally, it will showcase investment opportunities and promote entrepreneurship development
in the state, targeting agri-business communities at the MSME segment. The fair also offers diverse growth opportunities in breeder farming, hatcheries,
the poultry sector, pharmaceuticals, poultry equipment, automobiles, and other related industries. Through our modern and updated "Knowledge Zone," we will
provide opportunities for knowledge enhancement, catering to the students who are the pillars of our future generation.
