year again we are organizing the 11th Kolkata International Poultry Fair from 04th February to 7th
February, 2025 at Eco Tourism Park, Major Arterial Road (South – East), Action Area II, New Town, Kolkata-
700156.
West Bengal Poultry Federation , the only one assembles of all stake holders of poultry of West Bengal is working jointly in association
with Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal . We, in Association with Animal Resources Development Department,
Government of West Bengal, are organizing the Kolkata International Poultry Fair at Kolkata for the last Nine years. Since beginning we have
got huge responses from all stakeholders of our industry from our country and abroad.
We have immense pleasure to inform the same, to further enhance the growth of Poultry Industry in East India wherein most of the decision making poultry personalities,
as well as poultry producers from all over India and neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka have confirmed about their participation. In this
Poultry Fair we will be having Stalls of Indian & International Participants, displaying, demonstrating and sharing various developments of the poultry Industry. Seminars
will be organized and will be addressed by eminent speakers of the specific subject which will cover about the Industry, management, Bio Security, Diseases, Marketing, etc.

Inauguration of 9th KIPF2023- Inauguration of the 9th Kolkata International Poultry Fair was done by Swami Kaleshananda Maharaj, Controller of Examinations,
Ramakrishna Vivekananda University, Belur Math, Howrah, Apart from him, a number of erudite persons including Vice chancellors & professors of the WBUAFS & other Universities, Senior Govt.
officials, eminent ministers of State and poultry personalities from different States were present in the inaugural session.The esteem dignitaries were Dr. Chanchal Guha Vice Chancellor and
former Vice Chancellor Dr. Purnendu Biswas of WBUAFS, Shri Swapann Debnath, honourable Minister in Charge , ARD, Govt of West Bengal, Shri Biplab Roy Choudhury, honourable Minister of Fisheries,
Govt. of West Bengal , Shri Madan Mohan Maity , General Secretary, West Bengal Poultry Federation, Mr. Chandra Sekhar Rao, President, IPEMA, Shri Debashis Dutta, President, BNCCI, Mr. Neeraj Kumar

Exhibition - The main idea of this poultry fair is to enhance the growth
of poultry industry through modern technological development in the State and nearby States
including North East. In this fair, around 40,000 farmers from our State except other states and
neighbouring countries poultry farmers and poultry related people attended to know the latest development
of poultry industry . Apart from the farmers, renowned poultry personalities from different parts of India,
Speakers and poultry producers of all over India and neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan Nigeria,
Myanmar etc: attended the fair. We expect, this year more numbers of international participants will have their stalls
apart from India in this International Poultry Fair..
Kolkata International Poultry Fair offers the best opportunity to display the development of our state regarding live stock and poultry industry .This is a unique opportunity to invite investors,

Technical Seminar-“NOVACON”, a conference on International Seminar in Poultry Business including innovavation in the line of activity. It is a full day programme being curated by West Bengal Poultry Federation with the
audiences consist up of Poultry Farmers, Poultry Entrepreneurs, Veterinarians, Academicians, Scientists & Government officials. Our goal is to create awareness about the current developments in poultry sector & opportunities
ahead by making bridge between the experts and the poultry fraternity.
West Bengal Poultry Federation aims to inspire all stakeholders of Poultry Industry to enhance their knowledge and embrace recent innovations towards a sustainable future of the business through this international seminar.
Student Zone- We have, in this fair, a Student Zone, which is for mainly students of school and colleges. Erudite persons in Poultry Sciences and professors of West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences
educate those students on the poultry related issues, which may help to become entrepreneurs of the said Industry in future. By this event we may find new talents for this industry and enhance the interest and opportunity
in poultry industry.
Ceremonial Programme-The cultural programme held on 10 February 2022 at the closing of second day evening at Calcutta Boating Club. It was started by a local dance troop Swaralipi Musical Event through Ganesh Arati.
After the dance programme, the eminent singer, Shri Nachiketa Chakraborty sang a series of songs which was followed by Miss Ankita Bhattacharya, ‘SA RE GA MA’ trophy winner sang a number of beautiful songs and at the last lap Shri Arindam Chakraboty
finished the cultural programme by singing memorable songs. At the end of the programme a gala dinner were offered to all the audiences present in the programme..
Closing ceremony— The closing ceremony was presided over by our General Secretary, Mr. Madan Mohan Maity. In his short speech he described the gist of three days fair. He thanks to all exhibitors to run the show with certain difficulties. He also informed
house that the Stall owner/ exhibitor may win prize from us who have good ambience etc according to the judgement of Govt officials in different categories Award/prize distribution ceremony was among the exhibitors who own the !st, 2nd & 3rd rank in the 9th Kolkata
International Poultry Fair 2022.
Finally all the staff members and other members who were closely involved in the fair were felicitated by the General Secretary of the Federation with Uttorio. The programme end with the thanks to the Exhibitors , staff & other patrons who participated in the programme.
