GENERAL SECRETARY,
West Bengal Poultry Federation.
It is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings on behalf of the West Bengal Poultry Federation. Over the years, West Bengal has achieved significant milestones in the poultry industry, emerging as a key player nationally. Our state now stands as the fourth-largest producer of poultry eggs and the third-largest producer of chicken meat products in India. This growth not only meets rising consumer demands but also fosters substantial employment opportunities in our rural communities.
For nearly a decade, the West Bengal Poultry Federation has collaborated closely with the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal, to organize the esteemed Kolkata International Poultry Fair. This annual event has evolved into a cornerstone of the poultry sector, drawing enthusiastic participation from stakeholders across the globe.
We are pleased to announce the upcoming 11th Kolkata International Poultry Fair 2025, scheduled from 11th February to 14th February 2025, at the prestigious Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre in Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata. Building upon our previous successes, this edition promises several enhancements. A highlight will be the International Seminar “NOVACON” on February 11, 2025, at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata featuring renowned International & Domestic speakers and experts who will share insights into global trends and innovations shaping the industry.
In addition to showcasing cutting-edge technologies and best practices, the 11th Kolkata International Poultry Fair introduces a dedicated "Student Zone." This initiative aims to inspire and educate students about the latest advancements in poultry sector. Through interactive sessions and workshops, we seek to empower the next generation of industry leaders with practical knowledge and skills.
Our primary objective remains steadfast: to propel the growth of the poultry sector across West Bengal and neighbouring states, including the North East region. We anticipate robust participation from over 40,000 farmers, industry professionals, and delegates from India and neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Nigeria, Myanmar, among others. The fair will offer ample opportunities for networking, exploring investment prospects, and fostering entrepreneurial initiatives within the sector.
We eagerly anticipate your esteemed presence at the 11th Kolkata International Poultry Fair. Together, let us celebrate the achievements and future prospects of the poultry industry in Eastern India.
Warm regards,

Madan Mohan Maity
Convenor, Kolkata International Poultry Fair 2025.
